Five years ago I started my journey in design after quitting my job as a teacher. I first studied graphic design and I was so proud of myself because I could make things look good. What I couldn't do yet was make them feel true.
The shift happened when I moved into brand identity. Suddenly the work asked harder questions, not just "what looks right" but "who are you, what do you stand for, and who are you becoming?". The more I sat with those questions for my own brand, the more I understood something I couldn't unsee: the way the world perceives you is shaped before you say a single word.
Your visuals speak first. And when they speak the truth about who you are something shifts⦠not just for your clients, for you.
A little about me
Hiiii, I'm Marina. I split my time between Spain and Malta, still looking for the place that feels like home, which probably explains why I'm so good at helping other people find theirs (in business form, at least).
When I'm not designing, I'm on a long walk somewhere with my dog, tracking my macros with the kind of precision that my clients appreciate when it comes to their brand strategy, or taking myself on solo dates because a woman who invests in herself tends to attract clients who do the same.
I'm a self-confessed control freak and perfectionist, which in a designer means you get someone who is disciplined, thorough, and genuinely invested in getting every detail right.
I don't ship work I'm not proud of. I don't cut corners. And I don't disappear mid-project. What my clients consistently say (gosh, I love them sm): trustworthy, professional, and calm to work with even when the brief is complex.
My approach to brand & web design
Before a single colour is chosen or a font is set, we do the work of figuring out who you're for, what makes you the obvious choice, and what your brand needs to communicate to attract the clients who already value what you do.
Brand and website should be ONE cohesive thing, not two separate projects that happen to share a logo.
The way you show up on your site should feel exactly like the way you show up everywhere else, intentional, consistent, and completely yours.
